About Charis House School

Charis house is an educational institution designed to provide learning Spaces and environment for pupils using CBE and Montessori integrated systems. It was began in 2022; currently bearing pre-school and primary school levels. It is located at the Ruaka –Gacharage junction in a leafy clean environment about 600M from Limuru Road.

The school boasts of ultra- modern child friendly facilities which give a warm and conducive learning environment appropriate for the nurture of young children.

The school facilities include well- spaced classrooms, dining room and ample rest rooms differentiated for both gender and an expansive field for outdoor activities.

Apart from classroom learning in the school, there is a well thought out co-curricular program that includes swimming, skating, Music lessons to name but a few. The aim is to ensure every pupils’ talent and abilities are scouted, nurtured and exploited.

In addition, the staff is carefully selected to include professional teachers and support staff who are empathetic and show sensitivity towards children of diverse backgrounds. The teacher- Pupil ratio is 1: 15. This ensures that each learner is supported emotionally, physically and academically.

Charis House school provides transport to all its learners through an enviable Transport system that ensures a parent is able to track their child both, to and from school.

About the founder

Mrs Jane Njoroge, is a reputed career Teacher with experience spanning over three decades. She holders a bachelor’s degree in Education (ARTS) in Geography and CRE. She also holds a Masters in Counseling Psychology from Catholic University of Eastern Africa- CUEA. Driven by passion to mentor young families and nurture young minds into responsible, successful persons; she thought it wise to use Education as a bridge to meet both individual and societal needs of Knowledge acquisition. Armed with this determination she founded the institution that is Charis House school today!

About the principal

Madam Grace Murianki holds a bachelor’s degree in Education (ARTS) in Kiswahili and CRE from Moi University and a Masters Degree in Counseling Psychology from Daystar University, Kenya. Additionally, she holds a diploma in Business management from Kenya Institute of Management University. She has been in in administration of various high schools the most recent being Consolata School- Wetlands where she was Principal (2013- 2024). She has sufficient experience in both teacher management as well as skills of overseeing the day to day running of Charis House School as a robust academic institution with processes that ensure the nurture of learners in their quest for good and practical education.
